LFW Spring Summer 2012

Last week I attended London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 12. This was my second visit to the exhibition, and I was even more impressed with the exhibitors showcasing their designs than before!

Love this hanging display in the Somerset House staircase

These remind me of a more glam and sophisticated Dame Edna!

Piers Atkinson is rapidly becoming my all time favourite milliner with his quirky designs and unique concepts

Piers Atkinson

I am a huge fan of Zoe and Morgan's jewellery, their cute, feminine designs are right up my street. I especially love the little rabbit and 'hope' rings.

Esthetica showroom

Monsoon eco collection

Beautifully handcrafted and embroidered reversible necklace

Rachel Freire at Bloody Gray PR

Amazing metal rabbit gas mask esque head piece- pretty sinister looking but very impressive!

I love Rachel Freire's designs; she incorporates beauty and femininity with a dark and slightly eerie edge that is just fascinating within her work

Culietta headpieces-can't wait to get my hands on these for a shoot!

Love this. So very true.

Amazing Tatty Devine watermelon hat-truly scrumptious!

I was very impressed with the new Tatty Devine collection, I always love their designs but the new range is so perfect for Summer, with the use of bright zesty colours and motifs such as birds, (always a favourite of mine) fruit and florals.

Sarah Badaraani

I can't get over these incredible iridescent, metallic cigarette trousers!

I fell in love with this dress and am planning to use it in a shoot very soon!

I became a big fan of Sarah Badaraani this Summer after LFW A/W 11, where I used some pieces for my shoots in Third Floor Publication, and am now even more of a fan after seeing the new Spring Summer collection. I love the way she has kept her signature style of two tone, slightly tie-dye, luxuriously sheer fabrics but evolved the colour palette to represent hazy summer days, as well as the beautiful use of metallics.

I predict banana yellow will be super hot next Summer!

Swan anyone?

I was very taken with this French label's uber kitsch and quirky jewellery pieces. I love items like these, where it is so apparent so much work, effort and passion has gone into the design process.

Adore these little beauties!

I also loved the visuals and styling of the display tables, with the perfectly prim floral tablecloths, little embroidered cushions, vintage postcards and tea cups.

Thought these were adoreable

These burgandy suede beauties are most definitely on my LFW wish list!

Love the mirror pieces on these

Such Princess shoes!

Quite possibly the most impressive (and expensive) hanger in the world

Gorgeous hand painted hangers- every item was hung from a completely individual design

Kirsty Ward

Such impressive attention to detail and hard labour gone into all these items

I asked her if they were heavy and she replied she had worn a lot worse...fashion is pain!

Clemency. I know I shouldn't love this Barbie pink, quilted leather jacket, but I just can't help it! Besides...it's Clemency so it's allowed!

Sarah Angold-I was so interested and impressed by Angold's collection from Autumn/Winter with her unique take on jewellery I couldn't wait to see her new collection, and she did not fail to once again impress me and entice with her mesmerising pieces.

These shoes deserve to be in an art gallery!

Love love love this quirky fishing print

How great is this headband!?

This young fashionista was constantly being snapped for the most amazing emerals, ostrich feather skirt- so I had to take a sneaky snap myself!

Part of the Esthetica showcase

This young model was lapping up the photographers in the courtyard-I don't blame her, she looks incredible!
