Love this old crumbling house-would make a perfect background for a photo shoot...getting inspired!
Yesterday I took a lovely visit to the amazing Andy Warhol exhibition in Southampton. There was a huge array of his work displayed from his career - truly incredible. I purchased a couple of small prints and a few postcards which caught my eye.
The other week I had a well needed rummage in the ol' charity shops for some unique finds! I came across this amazingly embroidered dress. Here's how I styled it.
Love the side slit here-gives an unexpected edge!
Beautiful back detailing
So today's outfit consisted of: mint boyfriend blazer with gold button detail, kitsch floral printed blouse with peter pan collar-both Topshop, off-white chiffon layered midi-skirt-Miss Selfridge, vintage red suede courts and vintage satchel bag. Teamed with an abundance of jewellery...as usual.
Speaking of Kurt Geiger, check out their amazing sale online...I've picked out a few of my fave summer treats for feet! These are simply sunshine must haves...
Beach Holidaymaxi dress with similar rustic, ethnic hues. Mix ochre, mustard, antique gold and add some spice with a burst of jade green! These beauties would accompany a relaxed, beach trip or a stroll around the crumbling and charming streets of Marrakesh.
Team these beaded beauties with some distressed denim shorts, some hippy fringing and tassles, a cute flower garland entwined in tousled hair and an array of exotic bracelets, wristbands and beads on each arm for a fabulous festival boho look! Maybe keep these away from Glastonbury though-it would be a crime to mudify these babies!
For an ultra colour block extravaganza, try these bold orange sandals! I am a big fan of the tangerine dream this summer and these sandals tick all the right boxes with their raffia sole and on trend colour popping! Wear these with a cute chiffon midi skirt and printed vest top, throw on a pair of aviator Raybans, create a loose and effortless side plait, drape a few simple gold pendants round the neck and there is a perfect picnic outfit sorted!
Utterly in love with these peep toe floral fancies! Wear with some cute paper bag waist trousers or the new seven eighths length jeans, a classy crop top with a pretty lace shrug layered over the top for a subtle mix of femininity and masculinity. This look would make for a fabulous BBQ or summer evening cocktails outfit!
Girly Night Out
Love love love these! These showstoppers should be saved for a wild night out on the tiles with the girls- and for that occasion only! The subtle gold stud detail just makes these! Wear with a killer dress-bodycon or a floaty chiffon number-keep colours neutral and classic, think nude, blush pinks, pale caramel and vanilla tones. These shoes require accessories galore! Keep the dress simple in terms of pattern and texture, but add creativity with statement earrings or necklace (depending on the neckline of the dress) on trend knuckle duster rings or a statement cuff, in keeping with the gold studs so think antique gold-not too brassy, pearls or bronze coloured semi-precious stones.
Last week I attended the Harrods Store Approval for the role of Sales Associate for Kurt Geiger - I was accepted and was offered the job! Unfortunately, I had to decline the position due to other commitments! However, I was extremely honoured and proud that I was offered a job at one of the most prestigious department stores in the World!
I was highly disappointed when I didn't get my act together to purchase tickets for this years Royal Ascot-I desperately wanted to purchase an eccentric fascinator and pretty dress and join in with the royal celebrations! I will just have to settle at admiring all the photos taken from the event. Here are a selection of my favourite hats! I was drawn to the surreal, feminine and slightly quirky styles this year...
Love this! It adheres to my love and fascination with birds in fashion
This is truly romantic and the height of femininity- Love!
Amazingly daring and rebellious contrasted with ultra pretty and classic
Marie Antoinette style! Love it!
