LFW A/W 12-13 - Orla Kiely Showspace

A little late posting this, but here are the images I took of the Orla Kiely showspace at London Fashion Week. I actually stumbled across this by accident, and what a lovely surprise it was! I was thrilled to walk into the delightful little set up tea dance, with models sat on chairs, sipping tea and champagne, waiting to be picked by the eligible bachelors; I felt like I had stepped back in time to a 1940's tea dance!

I was completely enthralled with the whole thing, and thought it was such a unique and darling way of showcasing the new collection. I was especially pleased when I discovered that the authentic cake and tea displays were actually real, and available for the taking! Even more so with the 'waiters' swanning around, offering little glasses of champagne to the 'audience'. It was truly charming..I stayed in there a good hour and when I finally stepped back into the rest of LFW, it all seemed to surreal and like I had been in a different world!
Live jazz/ swing band, old fashioned tea and cake stands and of course beautiful dresses...I was in heaven!
So much fun! I wanted to get up and join in...may have gotten a few funny looks though!
 My goodies

The models looked like they were having an absolute ball!
 Gorgeous vintagey tea dresses!

 Loving the cute chinawear.
