Henley Regatta 2012

This Sunday I visited Henley Royal Regatta with a dear friend of mine. I have wanted to attend for a while now so I was very much looking forward to this event. Apart from one horrendous downpour, where we tottered around hurriedly looking for shelter, the weather surprisingly held out, and we were treated to a bout of sunshine after the rain, to enjoy our pimms outside, taking in the beautiful scenery. The day was filled with good food, people watching, hat and dress envy of other female spectators, sunshine, laughter, afternoon tea and pimms. I have now decided that the Regatta and Ascot, shall now become an annual event of mine, as they were both so much fun!
Loving the pink boys!
It just wouldn't be right without a jug of this now would it?
Enjoying the sunshine
Wearing: dress: Warehouse, necklace: Vintage, shoes: Primark
I believe that Eloise's beautiful peacock printed dress was from Zara and the blazer is Topshop
Powdering our noses in the very posh toilets in the Stewards Enclosure
We stopped off at this delightfully quaint little cafe for a spot of Cream Tea to finish off our lovely day
The decor inside was very chic and simplistic- not what you would expect from looking at the exterior, but it provided a lovely mix of old and new!
THE best starwberry jam I have ever tasted!

  1. Looks like a lovely day!
That yellow dress is sooooo wonderful. It can be used for so many occasions...great choice!
I'm happy that you guys had good weather (no rain) for that outing :)

  2. Thank you!! I was so chuffed, got it for £30 in the sale, amazing! ah there was a big downpour at one point, but for the most it was dry :) x
