LFW S/S13 Kick Starts with Fearne Cotton's S/S13 Collection for Very

I kicked off my London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 13, by attending Fearne Cotton's latest catwalk collection for Very at the Ballroom, Claridge's.

As always, it was quite difficult to get good quality pictures at such a high profile event, but I managed to get a few haphazard ones to create some idea of the show.
A colourful collection was showcased which reflects Fearne's fun loving personality.
It was an extremely star studded affair, with celebrities such as Davina McCall, Professor Green and Millie Mackintosh gracing the 'Frow'.

Notting Hill Carnival 2010 & 2012 - Then & Now

Better late than never, here are my Notting Hill Carnival pics from Bank Holiday Monday. I went a couple of years ago with a group friends to see the ultimate street party extravaganza, so I was excited to attend the colourful & vibrant festival two years on to party on the streets of London once more. This year I went with my good friend Aimee and fellow Topshop girl to enjoy some fun in the sun. It was a fabulously fun and flamboyant day, spent dancing away to the upbeat sounds of Reggae, inhaling the sweet aroma of Carribean cuisine and sipping on Red Stripe Jamaican beer!

I think it's important to tailor your outfit to stay in keeping with the occassion - and Carnival is not one to be ignored! Go for brights or pattern with neon accents, toned down with touches of denim or leather and comfort is key when partying from dusk till dawn, so a pair of Converse would be your ideal choice (or wellies if your luck is unfortunate and it rains!) Avoid open toe sandals, because trust me when I say your poor little tootsies WILL get trampled on in the crowds of over excited carnival goers! What I'm wearing: Neon pink sheer drop back shirt, neon bandeau & yellow Converse style hi-tops: New Look, denim jacket: Vintage Topshop, wet look leggings: Topshop, aviators: Miss Selfridge.
After sifting through some of my older photos from previous summers, I found my pictures taken at the Carnival from 2010...check out some of the impressive headgear and skimpy costumes, complete with feathers aplenty and beads, crystals, diamante and glitter galore!
