Vintage Car Festival

The other weekend my hometown held a Vintage Car Festival which my Mum and Brother were attending. I was designated taxi driver for the day but instead of just dropping them off I thought I'd tag along as well; it was a better option than spending a Sunday afternoon at home without my usual company. However, I surprised myself by actually getting quite into it, picking out different cars that I'd quite like to be sitting behind the wheel of, (all pretty pastel colours, as you will notice!) and really quite enjoyed myself. We met up with my Aunt & Uncle and after a good couple of hours wandering around dreaming, the decidedly grey skies gave in and the heavens opened, so we decided to make a quick dash back to the car and arranged to meet at Zizzis where we proceeded to have a delicious family lunch; it really was the perfect way to while away a drizzly Sunday afternoon.
Dressing for the occasion - What I'm Wearing: Floral trench coat: Primark, wet look leggings, cream leather bag & chiffon shirt: All Topshop, black fedora: Random little shop in Devon, suede oatmeal knee high boots: Another random little shop somewhere else...
 Love the lemon Chevrolet!
 Go Grease Lightning!
Beautiful vintage Rolls - Royce: makes me think of the little motor car that comes to pick Owen Wilson up to take him on his magical adventures in Midnight in Paris....sigh..
How cute is this! Reminds me a little of Brum..but with a roof..?
 Sky blue loveliness
Another little cutie! I could see myself in this, it's kinda quirky!
My Wedding day carriage perhaps...although somehow I don't think I could persuade my Mr...
 One day...one day...

My fine slice of chicken & pancetta
I had not been to Zizzis in ages, so was pleasantly surprised to notice the fresh and arty decor, with illustrated walls and bare branched trees in between some tables; bella, bella!

Thanks for reading!
