During the recent scorching weather we've been having recently, I have found it much trickier to dress my bump in a comfortable, cooling yet stylish way. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining - I'd much rather a super hot day than a cold, miserable one, but it's not like I can throw on a pair of hot-pants and a crop top to keep cool this Summer! I have mostly been living in stretchy maxi and midi dresses that I've bought in an array of colours from eBay, which are great for comfort, but I do like my pattern so I get tired of them easily. Therefore I was so pleased when I found this dress at the back of my wardrobe, which used to be my Mums from the 1970's (back in her hippy days), which had always been too big for me but when I tried it on, it was perfect with the bump in tow! My family and I were due to take a trip to one of our favourite pubs which I've mentioned before, Barton's Mill, where there is beautiful scenery and plenty of greenery for picnics, so I thought this dress would be perfect for the day; long, light and airy but with a beautiful print.
What I'm Wearing: Floral maxi dress: Vintage 1970's Miss Selfridge, sandals: River Island, wide brim felt hat: eBay, necklace: New Look, rings: Topshop, Primark, Forever 21 and Vintage.
Does anyone else have any Vintage gems from family members that have been passed down to them?
