My Style: Festival Fever

To kick off the beginning of Glasto, I thought as I won't be attending I would get into the festival spirit anyway and pull together an outfit worthy of wandering the muddy fields. Personally I feel there are 3 things that you can't go wrong with for festival dressing: fringing, lace and denim. So I've incorporated all aspects into this look. These little rosebud embroidered shorts are a few years old - and I was preeettyy pleased that I can fit back into them post pregnancy! The little lace top is Vintage (anything vintage is always a winner during festival season for me), the cowboy-esque booties are yeaarrss old, but will still always be a classic piece of footwear for keeping comfy as well as going with anything and everything. I finished the look off with a pop of colour to tie in with the pink of the flowers on the shorts, with this lacy, fringed kimono, which I feel sets the boho tone perfectly. Unfortunately I won't be going to any festivals this year, but I will be watching the coverage of Glastonbury on TV, starting tomorrow night, with a beer in hand, my Hunters firmly on my feet, sat in my living room, mud-free, living the dream :) until next year that is!

What I'm Wearing:

Kimono & shorts: Primark, Boots: New Look, Blouse: Vintage, Sunglasses: c/o Accessorize, Daisy flower garland: Miss Selfridge.

  1. It's always fun to get into festival spirit! I love that pink lace duster, what a great addition to a simple white tee and denim shorts.
