Phase Eight A/W 14 Press Day

The Phase Eight A/W 14 press day was full of glitz and glamour, sequins and sparkle and pure decadence! Now I know we have barely even had a glimpse of our Summer time yet, but if this doesn't get you just teensiest bit excited for Winter dressing and shopping for that Christmas party outfit, then I don't know what will! The eveningwear collection was full of rich jewel tones, intricate beading, lace, fringing, embroidery and sequins galore. I was discussing with some of the Phase Eight ladies how I wished I'd been born in the 1920's so this type of clothing could be worn all day, every day! I had a lovely time at the event, chatting away about the collections and ogling our favourite pieces with the lovely Phoebe and Ellie, over delicious canapes.

I loved this ombre, mermaid-esque flapper style dress; which, in my opinion, is simply perfect for all seasons and occasions!
You just can't beat a string of pearls for instant glamour...

Absolutely loved these two Winter coats - especially the double breasted checkered beauty! Perfect colours and styles for those colder months.

LOVED these knee high riding boots!
Adore this Autumnal colour palette and the variety of pattern & textures!
These were three of my favourite pieces that I felt could be worn during the Summer, and would transition into the colder months by layering up and adding chunky boots instead of sandals! How cute is the horse print blouse!?
A chunky cowl neck jumper is one of my go to items to for AW...it's just one of those items than can be thrown on with jeans, or over a maxi dress and instantly depicts effortless style.
Here I am picking out two of my favourite pieces - a fringed, mini flapper dress - perfect for party season, and this ultra cute bird printed chiffon blouse; I am a sucker for a bird motif!

Check out the Phase Eight blog for more coverage of the event here. Thank you to the PR team for inviting me along and putting on such a lovely day!

As crazy as it seems, is anyone else looking forward to A/W dressing?
