My Style: Wimbledon Whites

To kick off the Wimbledon finals weekend I thought I would dedicate this post to to it, especially as this dress does rather look like it could belong on the centre court! Dressing in all white is really huge this season, and I for one couldn't be happier; as much as I love colour and pattern, you just can't go wrong with a bit of bright white when the sun is shining. I've had my eye on this structured dress for a while, and finally gave in the other week! I love the simplicity of it and how it doesn't really need anything else with it to make it stand out. I'm really getting into clean lines lately and I love tailoring; maybe it's the glorious weather we've been having making me want simple, statement pieces, or maybe my tastes are slightly maturing.

I wanted to keep the whole look really clean and fresh, so very unlike me, I decided to keep all accessories at bay (bar a pair of white sunnies), and let the dress do the talking. I teamed it with my go to cut out buckle heels from Topshop, which I've had for years now but never let me down and go with pretty much everything!

Hoping whoever is at Wimbledon today has a fantastic time and the rain holds off! Who are you rooting for to win?

  1. That dress is so great! I love white on the courts, it's a little dated but so chic!
