This outfit is from a little while back (as you may be able to tell from the Poppy...), but as things go sometimes, it got lost in the pile of pictures. I still wanted to blog these images as I was sent this fab leather midi dress from Blue Vanilla and want to show it off! It has a subtle keyhole at the front and a halter neck design with straps to tie round. I think this dress would be great for a night out, or a fancy dinner, but I wanted to show how it can be worn during the day, with casual styling. I teamed it with my beloved Phase Eight long-line sparkly cardigan, and gave a pop of colour with some oxblood tights. To finish off I added this beautiful embellished scarf, which is really more like a piece of art, that I got years ago from River Island, which has proven to just be one of those timeless articles in the wardrobe. I wanted to be comfy so pulled on my new (at the time) chunky heeled and very sensible for me, boots from New Look. Ever since I got them I've just been living in them; they're so comfy and go with absolutely everything. I was after an updated version of my Topshop 'Mighty' boots for some time, as I lived in those for the past couple of years but it got to the point where they had definitely seen better days. These little beauties were an absolute steal at only £24.99 on ASOS too!
