Hello and a very Happy Wednesday to you all! The sun is shining so I'm a happy bunny. So once again, I've been a real slow coach at getting my final LFW outfit posted - Milan Fashion Week has been and gone since LFW and Paris Fashion Week is coming to a close today, so I do apologise for my 'tardiness' (I don't think American slang will ever suit me...). I really hate to make excuses but it really has been an exceptionally busy month for me already! My Birthday always comes around so quickly after LFW, and because I am such a Birthday person, I always end up making far too many plans that I can cope with, so am generally stressing over the details and getting everything organised straight after LFW - it happens every year, and my carefully considered outfits are always left hanging in the ether to be documented. This year was even more crazy, as Dan had planned to take me to beautiful Paris to
commiserate celebrate turning 25 on the actual day - it was the most amazing day - but there will be a blog post soon telling you all about it! Then there's been Afternoon Teas, a Gala dinner aboard the new P&O Britannia ship, a new blog design (what do you think by the way?), catching up with friends and family etc. etc. (you can keep updated with all these things via my Instagram). I'm finally getting back into the swing of things and tackling my huge back log of overdue posts - starting from the bottom and working my way up with LFW! So let's move onto the outfit...
You may have read in my previous LFW Outfit post how I'm all about simplicity, neutrals and quality when it comes to styling my outfits nowadays - bar the odd piece to keep my 'Magpie' status. Day 2 for LFW was no different, in fact I went even simpler than Day 1 and opted for pure, monochrome chic keeping it tailored and refined. I was very kindly asked by the lovely Robyn at Missguided to chose a couple of bits to style up for the day. I spotted this beautiful sleeveless longline blazer - a big trend right now, and these premium wide leg trousers on the website and instantly knew these items would be the basis for my second outfit. THEN... I saw these reptile effect black and white ankle boots and thought they would work perfectly with the ensemble. I kept it simple by just adding my black roll neck jumper from Zara, to keep the focus on the blazer and trousers, and finished off with my Karen Millen moc croc tote bag. These incredible Miu Miu cat eye glitter shades were the ultimate finishing touch to my outfit - every blogger knows that sunglasses are the essential accessory for Fashion Week, and I adored wearing these babies - a huge thank you to Red Hot Sunglasses for sending them over!
