OUTFIT | Hazy Beach Days and White Beaded Dresses

As always I'm a little late posting my Summer outfits - I can't believe these pictures were only taken a couple of months ago, it's absolutely freezing now already so it's hard to imagine it was ever this warm in the UK where a little sleeveless dress was sufficient enough clothing. These were just some pictures my little Bro took for me while on a family trip to Devon over the Summer. This was on my childhood favourite beach - Westward Ho! I just love it here, it brings back so many memories and now I can create new ones with my little boy and hope that he has just as fond memories of this place when he grows up.

I kept everything pretty simple when it came to styling over the Summer, as we were blessed with such wonderful weather, I just wanted to keep cool and comfy. We had previously gone for a family lunch as this was our last day, so had kept this dress for the occasion as it was one of my more special items that I had packed. However, when we got onto the beach to bid our farewells for another year, I thought I couldn't miss the opportunity to have a few photos for the blog; you just cannot beat a simple white dress along a beautiful beach in the sunshine. The dress is by Next but was actually picked up in a good old charity shop - the condition of it is absolutely pristine and looks brand new! I love the simple detailing of the various beads along the front which just adds a bit more 'jooje' (never know how to spell that word!) I just teamed it with a navy cardi from Zara for that nautical nod, to keep the early evening chill at bay. I'm already longing for summer dresses and beach days again now looking back at these photos...!
